Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before enrolling your dog at Hani's Playground. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, supervised, and enjoyable environment where dogs can socialise, play, and feel comfortable while in our care.
To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following terms and conditions:
Age Requirements
- Age: All dogs must be at least 8 weeks of age or older.
- Desexing: All dogs 6 months or older must be spayed or neutered (desexed). Limited exceptions may be made with prior approval (conditions apply).
Application & Enrolment
All dogs must complete an application and temperament assessment process before attending daycare. Hani's Playground reserves the right to refuse enrolment if we believe daycare may not be suitable for a dog.
Fees & Payment
Daycare fees are available as half/full day rates or on a monthly plan. Payment is required in advance or on the day of attendance unless otherwise arranged.
Bookings
Bookings are strongly recommended as places are limited. We can only guarantee your dog's spot if you book in advance. Please make bookings over the phone, by email, on our website, or in person.
Lateness
We reserve the right to give away your booking if you have not arrived within 30 minutes of your booking time and have not notified us of your delayed arrival.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice and no-shows may be charged full fees.
Vaccinations
All dogs must have up-to-date C5 vaccinations (administered within the last 12 months and not less than 1 week prior to first visit). Owners must submit proof of C5 vaccinations from their vet. Alternative vaccination methods are not accepted. Puppies must have at least their first vaccination before entering daycare and must have their booster and final puppy vaccinations by 16 weeks:
- 6-8 weeks: First vaccination
- 10-12 weeks: Booster vaccine
- 14-16 weeks: Final vaccine
Health
All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
Behaviour
All dogs attending Hani's Playground must be suitable for a social daycare environment and must not display aggressive, dangerous or excessively reactive behaviour towards people or other dogs.
Owners must disclose any known history of aggression, biting, fighting, resource guarding or other behaviour that may affect the safety of dogs or people in our care. This includes any previous incidents involving people or other animals.
Dogs must not display severe food, toy or resource guarding that makes them unsuitable for a group daycare environment.
All dogs are subject to a temperament assessment prior to enrolment. Hani's Playground reserves the right to refuse, suspend or discontinue daycare for any dog whose behaviour is considered unsafe or unsuitable for group care.
The safety, health and wellbeing of all dogs and people at Hani's Playground is our highest priority.
Breeds
We are unable to accept enrolments at Hani's Playground for the following breeds:
- Pit Bull Terrier
- American Pit Bull Terrier
- Fila Brasileiro (Brazilian Mastiff)
- Japanese Tosa (Japanese Mastiff)
- Dogo Argentino (Argentinean Mastiff)
- Presa Canario
- Crossbreeds containing any of the above restricted breeds
Staffordshire Bull Terriers and other strong or powerful breeds are considered individually and must successfully complete our temperament assessment before enrolment.
All other breeds may be accepted at Hani's Playground and owners must accept that their dog may be in the same pen with a variety of breeds.
Liability
The Registered Owner is responsible for their dog's behaviour while attending Hani's Playground and may be held responsible for loss, injury, or damage caused by their dog to another dog, person, or property, including as a result of aggressive, dangerous, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour such as biting, scratching, or clawing.
The Registered Owner acknowledges that participation in dog daycare involves inherent risks, including interaction and play between dogs, and that minor injuries may occur even when reasonable care and supervision are provided.
Hani's Playground will take reasonable precautions to provide a safe and appropriately supervised environment. To the extent permitted by law, Hani's Playground will not be liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participation in daycare.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Australian law.
Days & Hours
Hani's Playground operates Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
All dogs must be collected by 6:00 p.m. A late pick-up fee of $10 for every 15 minutes, or part thereof, will apply to dogs collected after closing time.
For example, a pick-up between 6:01 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. will incur a $10 fee, and a pick-up between 6:16 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. will incur a $20 fee.
Repeated late pick-ups may result in the suspension or cancellation of daycare services.
What to Bring
All dogs must arrive wearing a secure, properly fitted collar with an identification tag and current council registration tag.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when entering and leaving Hani's Playground and must remain under the owner's control until handed over to our care.
Each dog will have an individually labelled storage compartment for any necessary belongings during their stay.
To help maintain a safe and comfortable group environment, please do not bring toys, bedding, treats or other personal items that may encourage possessive or resource-guarding behaviours.
If your dog requires medication or another essential item during their stay, please ensure it is clearly labelled with your dog's name and provide us with the relevant instructions.
Medication
Should your dog require us to administer medication, please ensure the medication is provided and clearly labelled as follows:
- Dog's name
- Medication name
- Dosage
- Frequency
- Instructions on administering
Medication will only be administered according to owner or veterinary instructions.
Food & Water
Your dog may receive small amounts of healthy dog treats during their time at Hani's Playground unless otherwise advised by the owner. We do not provide main meals during daycare unless medically required. Fresh clean water is readily available to all dogs at all times.
Daycare Packages & Expiry
Hani's Playground offers half-day sessions, full-day sessions, and monthly packages. All daycare packages and plans are non-refundable and non-transferable. Monthly plans are valid only for the agreed billing period and cannot be paused, carried over, credited, or transferred to future months for missed days or non-attendance. Unused sessions will expire at the end of the applicable package period unless otherwise approved by management.
Photos & Social Media
Owners consent to photos and videos of their dog being taken during daycare for monitoring, enrichment updates, and promotional use on Hani's Playground social media, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise requested in writing.
Right of Refusal
Hani's Playground reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or permanently remove any dog from daycare if we believe attendance may pose a risk to staff, other dogs, or the wellbeing of the dog itself.
Alteration to Terms & Conditions
Hani's Playground reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms and conditions.
